I decided to put this on the page for one main reason: When Tode took over #TNO, he seemed to not know the rules of TNO. Well, here they are, loud and clear.
These rules are not meant to restrict the freedoms of it's members.
They are designed to maintain the security and good reputation of T.N.O.
1. Never give ANY T.N.O. product or information to ANYONE, not even
allies. Allies will get our products only if I, myself (§häñø¢k) have
tested and verified that their security is as tight or better than T.N.O.'s.
Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate expulsion from
The New Order. 2. If you want to hack a website and put The New Order's logo on it,
contact me (§häñø¢k) before you start. If I feel that the site has content that would justify hacking it, then you may hack it under T.N.O.'s flag as long as it contains
a reason why, and it does not contain obscene language or images. If I do
not feel it would be wise to hack it and you still wish to hack it anyway, then do
not indicate any association with T.N.O. on that page. Failure to comply
will result in an apology letter to the sys admin from me (§häñø¢k) and a
warning for the offender. Failure to correct this offense will result in
expulsion from The New Order. 3. Do not withold information from other members. Give all good programs
that you create or acquire to me (§häñø¢k) so that I may distribute them to the other members. Keep in mind that all members are bound by rule 1, and these
programs and cases will be kept in good hands. Failure to comply with this
rule will result in a warning. Continued offense will result in an
expulsion from The New Order. 4. DO NOT take over ANY channel on IRC unless there is a confirmed war
between T.N.O. (or it's allies) and ALL members of that chan, or unless
your IP and nick are COMPLETELY spoofed. Failure to comply with this rule will result in
an apology email from me (§häñø¢k) to the founder, and a warning. If for
some reason you refuse to turn back the channel, you will be expelled from
The New Order. 5. Do not establish any unauthorized connections
with another TNO member. This includes, ICMP_Unreach, ssping (and other
variants of ICMP DoS), TCP, and UDP. Do not use any exploits or floods
(IRC or otherwise) on other TNO members without their express permission
(as in tests). Failure to comply will result in a thorough investigation
and a vote on disciplinary action, based on the degree of damage. 6. Any member who fails to respond to 3 votes in a row
will have his or her TNO membership suspended due to inactivity. This will keep
our member list active and up-to-date. If a suspended member contacts me (Shanock)
requesting a reinstatement, it will be done immediately with minimal questioning.
Summary: keep our secrets
Summary: If you wanna cause trouble, don't mention TNO cause we don't want
to get a bad rep.
Summary: Tell us what you know about current updates and underground news
and programs, and we'll do the same for you.
Summary: Don't cause trouble that will get TNO a bad rep. If you want to
cause trouble anyway, make sure nobody can tell you're a TNO member.
Summary: Leave fights between members in text-format.
Summary: Don't lose interest in the group, or the group will lose you.
Aside from these rules, New Order members are free to do as they wish. Though it is not a rule, I ask that you please do not act like a lamer, typing in all caps all the time and threatening to nuke people. Try to keep a cool head.
